Big windows, and a sprinkler problem
Lakewood Ranch homes are built for light: two-story great rooms, stacked sliders, transoms above the front door and walls of glass onto the lanai. That is fantastic to live with and it means there is a lot more surface collecting dust, pollen and storm splatter than an older, smaller house.
The bigger issue out here is irrigation. Community landscaping and residential systems run on a schedule, and heads that clip the house put mineral-heavy water on the glass day after day. Baked off in the sun, it leaves the white haze you see across the lower panes on one side of nearly every street. Standard cleaning wipes right over it, which is why we assess for it before quoting.
How we handle a Lakewood Ranch house
High second-story and great-room glass is cleaned with purified water through a pole, so it dries spot free with no ladders leaning on new gutters or crushing landscape beds. Reachable glass, sliders and French doors get hand-detailed with a squeegee.
